watering can. Top notch though, the Haws Rowley Ripple Green – Two Pinter, handcrafted in England out of powder coated galvanised steel and guaranteed not to corrode for life, no brass rivets though. DM is going to have lots of plants, inside and out, so we need something that is up to the job!
Now I’m going to watch, “The Testing of Eric Olthwaite” as I’m a boring little tit.
Is that retirement I can see on the horizon?
Happy Birthday Bro.
Ha ha you have very good eye sight Ian!!!
Ripping Yarns, super! Lovely watering can enjoy.
It is, thanks Chris!!!!
Lovely watering can! I have it’s twin in copper which my husband bought a while ago. I am afraid to use it, though, as I fear our municipal water with chloride in it will cause surface pitting.
Yes the copper is lovely, I’d use it but maybe don’t leave it sitting with water in it. On the site they do say the copper ones will develop a patina which can be polished out if required. Both your and my cans have a 5 year guarantee but I suspect it will still be around in 20 years
You make a compelling case to not leave water sitting in it. Perhaps I could use it this way without ruining the outer beauty. I am sure my husband would appreciate if I actually used the gift he gave me instead of storing decorative grasses in it. No matter the outer patina, yes, I think these well-made watering vessels will be around in 20 years.
